There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 128(L&C) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 128(L&C) was read the third time. Representative Berkowitz moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 128(L&C) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Berkowitz: 2002-04-01 House Journal Page 2742 Page 1, line 2, following "minors" (title amendment): Insert: "; and providing for an effective date" Page 2, following line 22: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c)." Representative Berkowitz moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered, and the new title follows: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 128(L&C)(efd add) "An Act relating to the required approval of the commissioner of labor and workforce development for the employment of certain minors; and providing for an effective date." The question being: "Shall CSHB 128(L&C)(efd add) pass the House?"
